Elsewhere Bar
Elsewhere Bar is a bit different from what you might expect from a Surfers Paradise nightclub: whereas some other local clubs are known for overly-commercial music, tacky decor and what can sometimes be a trashy atmosphere, Elsewhere is a breath of fresh air.
With a somewhat intimate vibe, this award-winning venue has a sense of style, a more adventurous choice of music and to be quite honest: a better crowd. It's no surprise Elsewhere was the first ever Gold Coast venue to win an award (Best Music Offering in Australia) at the Annual Bar Awards in 2007. It has also won Best Club and Best Bar awards: clearly it's a good choice for people into their music.
Although Elsewhere Bar has some mid-week events, it's at the weekend when the place is in full-force: Friday night sees the Electronic Boogie Show with resident DJ Audun, Saturday is the Elsewhere Saturday Night Show and Sunday features one of longest running events in Australia - Royale.
